The Benton County Veterans Service Office is staffed by the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments in partnership with the Benton County Commissioners. Cascades West helps veterans and their families navigate benefits including disability and pension claims, Veteran’s Affairs health care, national cemetery and burial benefits, survivor and death benefits, and more.
Our accredited Veterans Service Officer provides personalized guidance to help ensure you receive every benefit you have earned. Cascades West also supports training and helps individuals achieve and maintain accreditation through Veterans Affairs at the state and national level.
The Benton County Veterans Service Office (VSO) assists Veterans and Veteran Families in submitting claims for Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits including compensation, pension, survivor’s benefits, and VA Healthcare. Our Veteran Service Officers advocate on behalf of the claimant to ensure all benefits, for which the claimant is eligible, are received.
